2016 International Photographic Competition Results

North Olmsted Photographer Named Bronze Medalist at International Photographic Competition

Jeremy Voldrich, CPP of Voldrich Photography, LLC is honored by peers and jurors for high-quality photography.

Jeremy Voldrich, CPP of Voldrich Photography, LLC in North Olmsted, Ohio was named a Bronze Medalist during Professional Photographers of America’s 2016 International Photographic Competition. Voldrich’s work will be on display at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas, Jan. 8-10, 2017. This International Photographic Exhibit is held in conjunction with Imaging USA, an annual convention and expo for professional photographers.

A panel of 46 eminent jurors from across the United States selected the top photographs from nearly 5,700 total submitted entries at Gwinnett Technical College in Georgia. Judged against a standard of excellence, just over 2,428 images were selected for the General Collection and of those 1,007 were selected for the esteemed Loan Collection—the best of the best. The Loan Collection images will all be published in the much-anticipated “Loan Collection” book and over 200 selected General Collection images will be published in the “Showcase” book by Marathon Press.

The level of the award is determined by how many of those four images receive the highest possible honor: acceptance into the PPA Loan Collection, which is displayed at photographic exhibitions, conventions and other photography events. Voldrich was named a Bronze Medalist by earning a merit—a mark of quality and honor—for each of the four images included in his entry case to the International Photographic Competition. This is the most prestigious competition of its kind, where images are judged based on a standard of artistic excellence, not against each other. In 2016, he was one of only 97 Bronze Medalists.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

North Olmsted, Ohio Photographer Earns Certification.

Jeremy Voldrich of Voldrich Photography, LLC joins prestigious group as a Certified Professional
Photographer (CPP).

North Olmsted, Ohio, August 18, 2015 – Jeremy Voldrich, CPP of Voldrich Photography, LLC in North Olmsted, Ohio has earned the Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) designation from Professional Photographers of America (PPA).

Voldrich earned this designation after completing an intensive program that measures his artistic and technical competence. Professional Photographers of America currently
recognizes fewer than 2,500 CPPs. Voldrich Photography services a 15 mile
radius around North Olmsted, and Voldrich is one of only 4 CPPs in that area.

“I sought certification, first as an educational tool, and second to show clients and colleagues that I care about delivering the best product I can for them and this industry.

At a time when so many have cameras, I realized certification would set me apart because it forces you to really study the art and craft of photography. Thus, raising the bar for
my work and others. The continuing education requirements of certification will
help me to continually be learning new techniques and ideas so I am always
delivering the best for my clients now and in the future.”

Professional Photographers of America (PPA.com/CPP) is the
leading body for certifying imaging professionals. CPPs must complete a written
examination, finish an image evaluation and adhere to a strict code of conduct.
Certification must be renewed on a periodic basis, ensuring continued
confidence in the professionalism of Certified Professional Photographers.
